Graduate psychology and counseling programs run clinics where supervised trainees provide therapy at dramatically reduced rates. Quality is generally good — trainees bring current, research-based training under direct supervision. Search "[nearby university] psychology training clinic."
Many private therapists reserve reduced-fee slots but don't advertise them. Say directly: "I'm paying out of pocket. Do you have any reduced-fee spots? My income is approximately [X]." More will say yes than you might expect.
